Cargo Templates
In its heyday, Cargo 1 set an extremely high standard for site templates. Cargo 2’s offering started with Zero during the beta and quickly expanded in order to showcase the vast array of options for creating the responsive, editorial-style layouts that Cargo 2 sites are capable of.
This time, we delved into many conceptual moods. We blossomed entire (fake) creative enterprises like record labels and boutique fashion houses. We filled the templates with ancient found images, poetry, our favorite images from Cargo users, and created our own content when it felt right.
I worked on almost all of the templates produced during 2017 and 2018 along with the rest of the team. Each one has a story.
